Ergosmart Consulting can assist organisations support their employees with non-work related injuries, illness or conditions to maximise employment participation and productivity. We provide services to support an employee to remain at work through assessing their particular needs, identifying of risk factors relevant to their condition and providing advice / recommendations to accommodate them safely at work. Ergosmart Consulting also provides services to facilitate an employee’s readiness for returning to work after a period of absence due to medical reasons.

An activities of daily living (ADL) assessment analyses an individual’s functional performance in the areas of personal self-care and general activities in and around the home. The assessment considers the individual’s safe abilities, context of family support, scope for improvement through task modification or equipment prescription and if necessary, recommendations for short term care. The aim of an ADL assessment is to maximise independence & capacity.

The ADL assessment is a service provided across different schemes (Workers Compensation, CTP). It may also be provided as a medico-legal service for recommendations on ADL requirements or review of existing services/care.
A task analysis (also referred to as ‘duties manual’ or ‘job dictionary’) is a comprehensive assessment of an individual task, entire job role or multiple roles within an organisation. It provides an objective review of the critical demands (physical, cognitive, etc.) of a task or job presented in a logical format utilising various quantitative measures, descriptions and photographs.
